    Premium Gas?

Wow, a lot of misinformation around here regarding the use of premium fuel. The main 2 factors that contribure to using 91+octane fuel are: 1) Compression Ratio. 2) Forced induction (Turbo, SC, or Nitrous). I believe the CR for a 4.0L v6 is 10.0:1, which should use 91 octane. The v8 on...

    Spidertrax Needed "?"

The rims will fit fine with the backspacing you said. According to your math. Stock is +30 Your new rims is +20. This means the offset is working in the same direction as the spacers. If you add a 1.25" spacer (like most spidertrax) you will actually have moved the tire almost 1.5" for the...

What are some cool cheap black rims I could buy?

Why would you want to change the Limited 18's? I am assuming thats is what you have on there. They are better looking than 99.9% of aftermarket rims.

Anyone every seen these wheels on a 4Runner (FJ 18" ENKEI)...

I have been a fan of black wheels from back when I was 16. But damn, those rims are stunning in silver. +1 for keeping them polished!

Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

Great looking truck! Did the exhaust + intake + chip do much in terms of power? I would like to get a little more out of my V8 but just keep hearing the usual mods don't do much.

Very nice find Chaz. It seems they have every application except the 4th gen. Maybe a phone call is in order. If not, I guess sliders it is.

looking for a running board... bar

I am looking specifically for a running board that looks like the one in the picture. I know sliders are similar but I would prefer to have the extra lower step that these provide. Has anyone ever seen anything like this for the 4runner?

Will I fit into a 6'-8" parking garage w/ daystar lift?

My daystar + 32's fits fine into my 6'5" underground parking. with about 1" to spare. The first time was scary, now I dont even notice. Just make sure you try different area's to make sure nothing is lower than advertised.

    N00b question

We all sounds the same, I was also lookin for a 3rd because they are cheaper. I test drove a 4th and instantly loved it. The only problem it had was that I looked like a mom truck. I knew I would lift it so no big deal. I saved for an extra 2 months and bought the truck I wanted! Lookin back, I...

    N00b question

Like you I was searching for a 3rd before I got my v8 sr5 4th gen. The 4.7 is a super reliable engine, just as much as the ultra reliable 3.4L. I always found the 3.4L underpowered in my Tacoma, but the 4.7 is great. Even if you don't plan on needing the power you will always love to have it...

    Wheel "drag" resistance?

Search for frozen caliper. Common issue that sounds like your problem. The calipers tend to get stuck in the closed position, only solution is new calipers.
