Since I have a 4runner now..That is my choice. But, honestly the 97-01 Jeep Cherokee would be my pick. They are crazy reliable, go through anything and you just cant kill em. Also, easy as hell to work on and theres no timing belt to replace. Easily modded, relatively cheap.

Check the freeze plug/s. mine started to leak and its getting replaced as we speak. it was the one right above the oil filter.
