For anyone who comes across this abs sensor issue, I would advise them to test the sensor with a multimeter.
I got a code that meant the back left sensor. I tested it with a multimeter and determined it was good. I don't know Toyotas exact specs but mine was right at 2000 ohms of resistance...
DIY ABS sensor harness
Do you happen to know what the resistance of the factory harness is meant to be? You advise against using coax cable, what kind of cable would you recommend? I've been looking for "abs wire" but cant seem to find anything except preexisting harnesses.

Long time lurker. Finally found something I haven't been able to figure out.
Was wheeling yesterday and set up as an anchor for someone to winch off. Put the e-brake on, and basically stood on the brake pedal.
