    my 99 4runner bagged

Slammed! I am into huge trucks to start with, but if I had the money, I would for sure have a ride like that. Wide 20s, thick Nittos, plastic bumpers, and possibly ground effects of some sort. A shaved roof rack, sharp rear window spoiler, smoothed rear hatch, and Satoshi grille would...

    Would this work??

Big Lift As far as the "bracket lift" goes, the 6" will work. It is supposed to keep the front end within factory alignment spec's, but rarely does. It achieves this by lowering th front differential, exchanging the spindles with new ones, and lowering the mounting points of the struts...

    Damn grill clips.......

Grille Clips I work part time at a body shop that deals exclusively with Toyota trucks, and those took a while for me to catch on to. After getting cussed at a few times, I found that the best way is with a pick, needle nose pliers, and a lot of patients.

    Rear differential lock upgrade

Rear Locker Yo! if you are mechanically inclined and have time, space, and tools, put in a TRD E-locker. 1100 bones with the control kit from Inchworm gear. I did this modification with very little trouble and in a decent amount of time.

    Door sill clips

Door Clips Has it rained yet? I Know this sounds crude, but if it leaks, it is installed incorrectly. If it rattles, it is installed incorrectly. If it looks funky, it is installed incorrectly. You have a Toyota, you know how they are. This is a pretty easy part to reinstall, so don't...

    Battery

The good 'ole Interstate MT-35 works pretty well for the T4R in North LA. Not too cold, not too hot. Plus, I do not have a winch (yet, for God sake, I just need the time to mount the D@#$ thing) or auxilary audio system, but I do have a direct-wired 900W Inverter and Hella 500s that get used...

front drive shaft not engaging/grinding sounds and vibrations!!

Clunk! Let's think about this logically in a review of basic of parts. Transfercase: 1: The T-case Electric Motor 2: Actuator fork and bushings in T-case 3: Reduction Box Housing and Mounts 4: Planetary gears in T-case 5: LSD or Torsen Center Differential 6: Input/Output Bearings and...

"How many miles ...? Please share your Rear Diff problems!

Rear Axle and Differential Man have I had some bad experience with Toyota rear axles; therefor I believe that I know a good bit. I just put the finishing touches on my 1998 T4R's E-locker swapped rear end. The swap was not very hard thanks to Chris Gieger and Ken Emanuel's excellent...

    3rd Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Pictures Yo, drar1. I am very impressed with the pictures on your website. Looks like a blast! I would love to give rocks a real try, but we have much more of the mud pit style 'wheeling around NorLa. It almost puts that pi to shame!

    TRD E-Locker Swap

Has anybody out there swapped a Toyota electric locking rear differential into a non-E locker housing? I have found excellent write-ups and pictorials around the Toyota community, but I would still like to hear someone's testimony first hand. I have the diff (3rd member already set up from...

    Supra motor in a 4runner

Super Runner Your idea has of the 2JZ-GTE in a 4x4 T4R has been a long time dream of mine. I have found a few videos on the net of a Supra powered 1993 T4R. It had (I think) Dana axles (SAS in the front) and what looked like 38 inch TSLs. I dont know the gearing, trans, or t-case...
