Literally posting my response as you post this. I may just do wires real quick. Took me like 2 hours to do the other work these things are way easier to work on than my M3... thanks for the update too, gives me hope.
Let me know what you find out. I have had my 4 Runner for less than a month and ran and drove great until now. Got Cylinder 4 only misfire codes so i did all 6 plugs and the ignition coil in cylinder 2 since they are connected i believe. Still misfiring. Not getting any white smoke or weird...
