Thanks for the tips, i'll check it out this weekend. i'm thinking it is the ignition switch, since that's the only place that shuts everything off at once while it's running, lights on, a/c on, etc. I failed to mention that i can take my key out of the ignition whether it's running or not. :)

Here's another one. I bought here new July 3, 1987 in Memphis, Tn., took her home to Baton Rouge, we now live in Atlanta. She is still going at 320k miles, just rebuilt the motor and tranny (5spd).
