Its not so much a grinding noise, but literally a clunk. I have had the gridning noise going downhill and have read the thread refering to the noise. Hmmm... guess i will just have to pay a little more attention to the noise when it happens again. Thanks!

when i come to a stop, usually when i am rolling up to it, i hear a clunking sound, for lack of a better term, when i come to rest. I checked the usual areas... spare tire loose, jack loose, and they seem very secure. It doesn't happen every time I come to a stop, which has me a bit baffled...
