3rd T4R Just purchased a southern clean frame SR5.... 430k on the clock. Drove it the hour ride home without missing a beat. This is my third 3rd gen, and I'm excited to start building it.

I went with Mevotechs on my 97 Limited, and they went years and thousands of miles with no issues before the truck got hit, and was totaled. I recently picked up an 01' SR5. I'm going with the Mevotechs again. In my opinion the quality is good, and the price is cheaper than OEM.

Picked up a new to me sr5 after my limited got totaled out, dug through my maintenance parts bins and changed out the air filter, and replaced all the light bulbs that were out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mevotech For what it's worth I just rebuilt the whole suspension on mine. The upper control arms I replaced just the bushings with beck/Arnleys from RockAuto. Super simple, and cheap. Simply because my Lower's were super rusty, I bought Mevotech complete lower control arms, and ball joints...

Quick work Tore the running boards off the side of the rig today. Looks a million times better I think. Gave the truck a good wash to get the salt off the body, and frame. Used WorkHorse brand cleaner on the dirty door cards to clean them up, and it came out great. No pics of the cleaning yet...

Thanks! I know about welding it, but I'm an EMT, I've seen what steering wheels do to people when they slam into them.... I'd rather just replace it with new, or at least better than I have.

Scheduled maintenance Just a simple oil change, tire rotation, wiper blades, and weekly pb soak for the upcoming suspension work, and "slush catcher" delete. Also, washed, waxed, and detailed the interior with some new weather tech universal "cut to fit" floor mats.
