I know a Line-X guy who did the skidplate. My experience with painting is it gets dinged pretty quick and you're constantly touching up. The shackles I found online and are functional plus look great with the springs

That's hilarious, I logged in to thank Tejas for advice on the same lift. Cornfed's are great- I feel like it does drive better and there is way less nose dive. I'm very happy with the build. This will complete my mods for now- or at least until a supercharger becomes affordable ;)

thanks for the quick reply. I want to add at least 1.5" to the front and rear but want to keep the front rake. As I search through the forum I keep coming back to spacers. I know there's some heated pro and cons on spacers ;) Would 1.5" be enough to get 285's on or would they rub?
