Replaced the air filter in my '85 P/U back in the day and found a handful of dog food inside. Squirrel(s) had been storing it in there I assume. Took me a while to figure out how dog food got in there.

For our Red Heeler we use a foldable crate. Plenty of room for him to move around and keeps most of his shedding contained within it. Added bonus is that it keeps him from running around inside the truck when we have to make a quick stop at the store or the like.
