Spiker Engineering Hood Struts now on Amazon

Highly recommend these! Make sure to watch your windshield wiper fluid line the first time you open your hood after install. I was a fool and snapped mine... 100% my fault.

    99' limited restoration project

More things done on the checklist. I got a scan gauge II, and noticed my trans temp getting up to 240-250 degrees on highway hill climbs. So I installed a B&M trans cooler in series with my radiator. (Haven't driven since installation) P.S. 4th gen OEM floor mats work great in 3rd gens...

4:10 rear axle number of teeth?

I simply need to know how many teeth are on the rear 4:10 axle. I bought an elocked 4:10 diff from a Tacoma, and I simply want to verify before installation. I don't have the Tacoma door jam to look at and review the code. And other info on how to identify the gear ratio would be appreciated...

They are pretty quiet. I am coming from an all terrain, and there is not much more noise. I am very happy with their performance off-road.

    99' limited restoration project

Well after my OME shocks blew up front, it was time to upgrade. I went with Bilstein 6112's for a tundra, paired with OME 2980 springs in the rear & 5100's. Also got some spidertrax spacers, and 255/85/16 KM3's. Got some goodies on the roof now too. More to come is Elocker install, LCA lockout...

Single clunk when changing direction NEED HELP. (99 4wd)

Awesome. I've had two alignments done and my front wheels are cambered positively pretty bad. I got greaseable cam bolts so ill check that they are greased and torqued. Thank you for the reply.

Single clunk when changing direction NEED HELP. (99 4wd)

It’s really hard to specify which side it’s coming from. I was thinking cv axles but I figured the popping would be consistent. I’ll try to record it somehow.

Single clunk when changing direction NEED HELP. (99 4wd)

When I'm backing into a parking spot, i'll turn the wheel and hit the brake, and a loud pop/ clunk happens. Loud enough for people nearby to look over. I've replaced most of the front end including: (5k miles ago) - LBJ's - LCA's - UBJ's - UCA's - Sway bar end links - ITRE's - OTRE's - Steering...
