I agree with the above: - get shorter bolts (or cut your current ones) - get better cross bars so that the original mounting hardware still works happy camping.

I don't think the case comes in black, the awning itself is has different shades of gray stripes. They are manufactured in Italy and worth the price. Look around on e-bay or these forums, you might be able to find a good deal on a used one.
