Yup, the electric tape was my method as well. Took a little work, but I was able to get them out without breaking the bulbs.

jarury I'm on my phone so I can't get to the link, but you basically want to use the flat head and pry the vanity light from the left side molding instead of the light cover, just work it till it pops out and it's the normal switch of the bulb to led. P.s. You work the molding from the left side...

I didn't end up doing the puddle lights cause the mirrors scare me to pull off even though I saw the thread on it, haha

I ordered from Amazon, only one of my dome lights worked. I was also able to get the rear hatch lights done successfully. jarury I used the courtesy/door lights to replace the vanity lights and decided to use the other courtesy lights for the license plates lights .

hey jarury, i ordered the same LED kit as you did. Did you end up using all of the lights? Also, was it difficult to pop off the the light cover on the rear hatch, as I am having difficulties doing so. And lastly, do you know if the courtesy/door LEDs fit the puddle light/vanity plugs?
