Just saw this on facebook. Supposedly ran up the right embankment and then rolled. Just a little further down the trail and it wouldn't have stopped. Appears to be a 5th gen, hope it wasn't someone on here and that they are all right. Be careful out there.

5100's at 2.5" with stock springs in front, T13's in the rear, 265/70/17 tires. Before and after.

Homebrew jack foot for sand and mud, it uses countersunk 3/8" bolts and is easily removeable. I made it to fit in my cargo box(in the background) but a smaller version would fit in the jack compartment behind the tools.

We use turnbuckles to secure coolers in our jeeps. The coolers have similar attachment points, either use a short piece of strap or fabricate a metal L bracket. I have never seen a cooler come loose secured in this fashion even in a rollover.

Pics: stock, post lift, top hat, lower mount/cv angle, spring seat. Shock part number is 24-196499. I did notice the new shock is 1/2" longer than stock but the distance between the spring seat and lower bolt hole is 1.375 so that should equate to roughly 2.5" of lift.

I've seen people post that stock height is 19-20", I just happened to have one of the squatty vehicles. I'm now sitting at almost 23", last time I measure at 22.5 was when I was taking pic comparisons.

Some measurements I just took if someone could compare them to their 2.5" setup. Bottom of top hat to center of shock bolt: 21" Bottom of top hat to lowest part of spring cup: 11.5" Spring color code dots are white and aquamarine.
