Yes, Mine would freeze and reboot. After a while on some runs it would do the reboot 3 times in a row.
Toyota updated the software over a year ago and no reboots since.
By the way there are multiple threads on this subject.

Don't plan on any water crossing with them, they don't like getting submerged at all. All the arms and motors replaced because they wouldn't retract, then had the motors replaced again.
You have to get down under the truck and lube them fairly often.
