For some reason I had a real PITA trying to get the pins out too. I think I actually just cut the harness adapter half way, flipped the wires and resoldered them. OEM harness stayed untouched and this method worked for me as I felt like I was going to destroy the weatherpack

I have the 2781 mounted in the cargo area. I added in some standard npt air connectors and a pressure switch so it shuts off when I'm not pumping air (this way I can use a closed air chuck). The compressor is working great so far.

Did you end up replacing the whole piece (2 hoses and 1 metal line) or just the rubber hose? Mine is cracked and Toyota only sells the whole piece for a stupid price. Wondering if I can get away with just putting a new PS or fuel hose on it.
