towing a 1988 toyo pickup

I am towing a 88 pickup, 2500 lbs, from Cali to Ohio with a 1997 4runner (V6). My question is should I use a tow bar or tow dolly? What are the pros and cons of each?

Mounting amplifier

I have a 1997 4runner with one 12" sub and an Orion Cobalt 1200 Amp. Are there any cons in mounting the amplifier on the back of the box.

1997 factory radio

Does anyone have the wiring diagram of the 1997 factory radio (CD/Cassette deck)? I am looking for the color of the speaker wires in order to connect an amp.

Does any know if it has audio output in the back for RCA plugs? I am trying to install an amp.
