So I finally the tiny divot in the crank timing gear. I guess I need better glasses and a third arm from the center of my chest to make this job a bit easier. Thanks

In trying to line up the crank shaft timing to TDC, there is NO indentation of timing make on it. However there is a flat area on it about 1 inch long where the normal teeth would be. Is this flat area...
