I couldn't get mine out, but then I took a hair dryer and heated The Grommet up and was able to pull it out pretty easily. Mine was super hard and brittle with about a 275 thousand miles on it. Maybe I got lucky!

Durk, I just responded to one of your posts about a similar issue in another thread. I also tried unplugging everything, inserting the 15amp Dome fuse, and re-plugging it all back in starting with the 1J and then 1k. My dome came on with 1J plugged in but blew again when I got to plugging in...

I had good pressure on my impact which just immediately stripped the bolt tip. I made the mistake of trying how to use an easy out. The tip snapped off inside the bolt now I have hardened steel preventing me from drilling a bolt out. I'm going to have to sacrifice the handles and use a grinder...
