Well I dropped my runner off today at the dealer. They sent it off to the paint shop to get fixed. I have a feeling this will not be the last of this problem.

I just notice the same thing on my truck. I need to check on this but I believe the paint warranty is longer then the 3yr/30,000mi warranty.

The thing is that it's not uniform across the windshield, it's a spot here and there. Which leads me to believe it has something to do with the way it was made. I've never been in an area were I was exposed to sand that would do this to the windshield. I guess I'll just take it in on my next...

I doubt it, but I'll put a wooden stake through it just in case.

It's always had it, but now that i've taken a few road trips it has begun to bug me. It appears to be within the windshield, the exterior and interior of the windshield are smooth and free of any defect.

While my runner is sitting in direct sunlight the sunlight creates a "glitter effect" on the windshield, it's hard to describe. This "glitter effect" is not seen when not in direct sunlight. Has anyone else noticed anything like that?
