The OG 5th generation are a bit of a different animal. Even the plug behind the mirror is different for the early years. I have yet to hear an answer that a usable video feed will be provided using the maestro. I would love if it did.

Does the Maestro provide the video signal? I have heard that you still need to tap the mirror and run the feed. I am looking at doing the Maestro and currently use the mirror as my camera screen.

I would rock it, yes its sad to see a low mileage example being modified like that but what is done is done so why not enjoy it

Hey I figured its time to join the forum. I have owned my truck since 07 and she has been great. Its a 98 4runner limited 310,000 km and like many trucks of this age and use has a some character and rust.
