Yeah mine stop right before the first roof rack mounting point on each side. Hoping the new ones just clip into place but not looking forward to having to remove the roof rack to swap them out.
That’s strange because the profile of the Moulding in that FSM does not match my 2007. My looks like the original post and they have a little channel that I actually tuck my light bar wiring into on the passenger side.
The more I mess with mine and looking at the parts list explosion...
I ended up cleaning out the drains with a weed wacker line and I replaced the glass assembly with a rust free one I found on eBay. Have not seen any water since.

I have a pair of these that I've modified to tie down to my roof rack and they've been great. I've been using them for around 2 years now and they hold up to the weather really well. Been through rain and heavy wind and kept everything nice and dry.
Not really aside from cleaning the drains. I hardly ever use it, it had rust building in the front corners since I got it so I just pretended it wasn't there but the rust has gotten noticeably worse over time. I just pulled down the headliner and did a water test and now I don't see anything...
Just the sunroof assembly. Still functions but there's literally chunks of rust falling into the car when I open it. I'll post pictures here as the process continues to try and provide more info for other members.

Before you put the nozzle on the fitting try pushing the ball bearing valve in a little with something pointy. usually thats what causes the grease to shoot out the sides.
