First 2010 I drove was a 4cyl and I was sold on buying a 4runner...but I'm still getting a V6 b/c that thing is slow as ****. If you don't need a 6cyl that's cool, you won't feel the need to go fast anywhere...ever, with the 2.7.

Bug deflector is good but only protects the hood. Doing the clear bra will cover the bumper, grill and part of the fenders if you decide to spend the extra. You can even get the headlights too. It's a bit expensive but definitely worth it if you're living in the conditions you say you are.

WTF a Kia? I would have liked to see an Xterra Off-road instead. I also have to agree with the general consensus that the Jeep was way over optioned for this test. LOL! +1!

I've been lurking around here for a while because I'm set on purchasing a 4runner Trail sometime next year when I move back stateside. After hearing some of these stories I'm pretty disappointed so I'm glad I'm not going direct through a dealer. I'll either purchase through my bank brand new...
