Thanks man. We got it once we removed those bolts and the throttle cable. Can anyone tell me if the torque converter is supposed to rattle when shook?

Check your intake tube. Ours was brittle and a small piece broke off and got stuck in the TB. scared the SH*% out of my son. It eventually got sucked into the motor and melted away.

My son and I are removing the transmission from a 95 4runner and almost have it out. its separated from the motor about 6 inches. Does the torque converter have to come out with the tranny or will it stay on the flywheel? There are some electrical connections that still need to be disconnected...
