It's kind of crazy how good these trucks are that people will buy them used with over 250K and then sink money into them. My 2005 just passed 250K and I have a few things to fix periodically, but I have no thought of replacing it before 300k. Still reliable for long road trips.

Mine's fixed for now with the $40 Amazon part. We'll see how long it lasts. May have to get a spare at that price in case it goes haywire when I'm on a trip. It's about a 15 minute job with a 10mm socket and a trim puller as the only tools.

I found a home for my roof rails, but still have crossbars that need a home after I installed my Victory 4x4 Rack. Either pick them up in Sacramento, CA or figure out how to ship them and they're yours.

Got her done. I had to take the seat out to really get a good look at the clip that had to be released. Seems like other threads people just broke off the knob and then replaced. I was almost there.

I've got my Clazzio Seat covers ready to install, but I can't figure out how to remove the large knob that raises and lowers the front edge of the driver seat. This is on a manual adjust seat. Hoping someone can help.

One thing to think about with a 2005 is the potential for head gasket failure. Known problem that affects a fair amount of engines. Even with that repair, this is still worth keeping with only 105K on it. My 2005 just passed 230,000 and runs like a dream.
