Driveshaft bolts on fourth gens do not come out I learned... long story short limped it no trailer to a buddy an hr away left it there he started to take it apart and it was a bad cv the inner cv had grenaded he said he pulled the boo back before removing it and pieces fell out.

Thanks going to give it a try then drive shaft bolts are seized like crazy but going to get a torch from somewhere and hope to get it off. When it started and when it got worse as I was still on interstate doing about 55 it was shaking wheel violently side to side if I shifted to neutral it...

So currently I'm out of town about four hrs away from home and seems like my diff needle bearing is shot not drive able if I put it in neutral on highway when it started all vibrations went away. So should I be able to disconnect front driveshaft and use cdl without diff spinning ?

I have an 04 v8 runner with the awd system. Was traveling to beckley wv today when what I've troubshot to be the front diff needle bearings gone bad. Started with bad vibration and got worse quick. Got stopped and pulled wheel off side that started making noise can feel a grinding sensation...

Long time since I've updated this. Since last I've killed my battery bought a yellow top to replace. Installed metal techs rear links opor link skids , and icon read shock guards Rebuilt Susp front and rear replaced coil over springs with King 700lb springs made the coil overs ext travel...

My calipers seized for the second time so I went with fifth gen runner calipers they have 3mm larger pistons and haven't had the seizing issue the fourth gens too I also went with one fifth gen rotors and pads which are thicker than fourth gens rotors. So far no issues completely bolt on.

How many miles are on these ?

In my opinion was a very poor move . It has clearly dampened their reputation in this community I myself won't consider buying a rack from them . They are a well established company making tons of products for nearly all vehicles whitson was a one man garage operation making a couple different...
