I had money down on a Pro ($500 below MSRP) before switching to a Trail Edition. I can attest to some regions in the country that are selling the Pro above invoice though. I did enjoy the near plush ride that the Pro gave me and I sure hope that my TE with a slightly higher lift and KDSS...

If I understand correctly, the TRD PRO uses the same Bilstein 5100s that I can install on a Trail Edition but with the TE, I'd have the benefit of KDSS. From what I've read, I'd assume that if I go with the Trail Edition and install the 5100s, I'd have the best of both worlds.

I'm not sure about springs or spacers. I don't mind spending the money if the springs make it ride better. What about control arms??? I'm happy to hear your suggestions on what YOU think $2,500-$3,000 will get me. I've got larger wheels already.

With the 5100s all around, wouldn't (we) need a modified/replace control arm(s)? I am trading my Tacoma for a 4Runner and will quickly add 5100 all around. What else will I need to make it the best that it can be?
