Would love an update on this! Mine does the same thing, but I honestly can't say how long it's been doing it. I did have my wife crank it and turn it off while I looked under the hood, and the sound is not coming from the pump--it sounds lower and further back. Thanks in advance!

If I'm doing a good mix of highway driving and in-town, I usually get around 19 mpg. In-town only, I'm down around 16. No light bar, but I do have a roof rack.
