Make sure you have your spark plug wires hooked up in the right sequence. Should be 1-4, front to back i believe.

Don't these actually circulate the engine oil through them? Much like external transmission coolers do? hence why there is no pump for coolant. You may want to look around at some other toyota models that came with factory oil coolers, I know my Mr2 used to have one, just like the oem one...
