Glad the filter change got the pressure back up in the system...have you checked the shift cable at the throttle to make sure it's adjusted right? It is the governor regulator...you can bump it up a few notches to get it to build a touch more pressure to shift better...one thing I don't...

I think I may be confused by the confusion... the lip on the cam seal saver is used as a block to drive the saver on then is removed before you put the seal on...the seal depth should be back to designed position...use a seal driver to install the saver...dont really need sealer but I have used...
