Yes I ran the Kendas and they were a great tire at a great price. Looked fantastic on the 4R too. Thing is, I'm on the highway a lot and they were a lot heavier than most LT "C" tires. That killed my MPGs. And, the road noise was pretty loud. About average for a MT...but still much louder...

Cooper AT3 runs very narrow in the 255/75 size for some reason. I strongly recommend the 265/70 version instead in that particular tire.

I didn't read the whole thread. Somebody might have said this already. But for the record, you can go to a salvage yard and pick up an entire transfer case for around $600. That way you can fix the problem for half the money AND have spare parts for the future. Just swap in a whole new case.

WET driving is the key. So you want modern silica compound and lots of siping. I love Cooper AT3s. Some guys love the Toyo AT2. The tire I'll run from now on is the Hercules AT2 which is a cousin to the Cooper but runs a little bigger in the 265 size for some reason.

Well, local O'reilly has the Moogs for $42 each and the press tool for free rental. So I guess when time allows I'll jump in. Gotta' do CVs on both sides as well. And brakes. So while I'm in there I might as well move the Bilsteins to the 2.5" setting and make a weekend party out of it. :)
