Sorry to bump an old thread, but this just started happening to my TRD ORP 2017. Pretty annoyed like most here. Two questions: 1) for those who wrapped, how is that holding up? 2) can anyone provide any instructions for the removal of that piece? Hoping to short cut a broken plastic piece!

Negotiated for a TRD ORP with just running boards, sight unseen. Walked away with on with cross bars, trailer hitch, and remote start. So I just got the keys and left before they could do damage.

Anyone know of a light switch that fits in a single knock out with independent Left/Right buttons? Something like the Rav 4 seat heaters switch would be PERFECT (84751-20130). I would like to put independently wired scene lights for the left and right sides of the 4Runner.

Anyone use a fold out table as a leveling platform? Seems about the right size/thickness.

Not execising for a year, certain death? My situation is that I'm leaving the States for a year. I will have someone drive the car periodically, but they are not competent to exercise the 4WD properly. So, am I in trouble? I will likely be back 1 - 2 times for maybe it will only go 6-mo...

Its a medium. The small fits snugly between the factory rails (best used on factory cross bars) and the medium overlaps the rails a bit (works super in this set up, I did the same as 007Tacoma)

Exactly correct. It seems AOB made an intentional change.

I can also confirm AOB switched the colors. My switch came with an updated wiring diagram reflecting the change. Does not seem to be a QAQC issue.

Understood. I misunderstood your meaning and realize now why that question didn’t make sense. Was thinking along the lines of the switch resetting itself with each ignition on/off cycle which didn’t make sense to me obviously.

Could you explain why this occurs? Also, I love the 9006 extension idea. Anyone find an extension for the harness on the toyota switch? That way tapping in to light the dimmer would be 100% reversible too.

Roger. Anyone have experience with faux leather covers? It’s startong to sound as if I should just use what I have and IF it gets wrecked, reupholster. That is a Raingler it seems.

Bumping this thread because I have the same TPMS issue and have had it since I picked up the car New a year ago. I find it so strange that the light only begins to flash on long drives (>3-hrs). Does anyone have an explaintion for this?

Roger, understood. I suppose what I should have asked was HOW MUCH of the benefit is the filter? What remains with stock paper?
