You can pull the lock and take it to a locksmith. If you can't pull it they will probably charge around $100 to do that for you. It is 4 10mm bolts and one Phillips head screw. I watched a YouTube video and learned how to do it.

Finally had enough and pulled the ignition lock assembly today. Both keys did not work and the valet key did work. Locksmith redid the tumbler for $50 bucks and all keys work perfectly.

Well after all that it turned out that my key has a chip in it that tells the ECU to operate. So while I was cranking away with a copied key the ECU was dead. Used the original key and it works great. At least I took the opportunity to give it a full tune up.

For those whose key would turn did the starter engage and crank the engine but it would not start? I have that problem and I think it is the ignition because I have ruled fuel and spark out.

Could something in the ignition switch intermittently not work with my original keys? I have read that the wafers in the mechanism break over time and don't match up with your key. Would the starter engage and the motor turn if that is true?

My problem is only with the lock function. Unlock works fine. The remote and lock button in the car won't work. If I manually lock all doors and then press lock on the remote the alarm will arm. It is only the lock function. I ordered the part and I'll let you guys know if it works.
