Well said!! Couldn't agree more. Living in the rust belt, you 50% of the time lose your ass on the labor rate due to rust, seized bolts etc. Scanners cost money and people want free diagnosis so they can go home and fix it themselves when you just used your $30k scanner to diagnose their problem...

Like the one poster above me stated about dealership competition.. These service departments believe it or not, most of them are hurting for work. Toyota makes a crap load off oem parts and if you tell them another dealership quoted less then them, 9 times out of 10 they will beat it.

GO TO CAIN TOYOTA!!!!! It's 15 min away from summit toyota. I just paid $548 and got a new 4runner as a rental for the day!

I'm right down the road from you In canton. Cain toyota charges the same and their mechanic IMHO are a lot better and their facility is brand new. Never had a bit of problem at cain. However I can't say the same for summit toyota.
