Yup, you can still lift it but 3" is the max, any higher and you're likely to do some drivetrain damage. There are a few options out there, just do a quick search...here's a short list to get you started...Cornfed, Daystar, Toytec...
If you're keeping it stock, its a good thing! There should be a sticky explaining how it works but basically when you go into a corner fluid is transferred from the inside shocks to the outside to firm up the suspension and provide more stability and control. If this is wrong please correct me...

I've seen the thread for making the 3rd gen rear seats (bottom portion) removable but can this be done on the 4th gen without too much trouble? It looks pretty straight forward but if i remove the bolts will there be any issues in putting them back in?
