Thanks - I was peeking around Sherman Pass on Google maps over the past couple days. Looks like there are plenty of offshoots to consider. Is there dispersed camping off of Tioga? Buttermilks look possible, and was considering Papoose Flat. Wife wants to get into the trees this time, though...

Any favorite spots you’re willing to share? Looks like wester sierras will be wet or snowy, depending on elevation, so I’m now thinking eastern. Love 395 but hoping for some forest camping.
