I'm glad you started this thread. I am slowly building up my 2wd 4Runner and I'm eventually going to make a coilover setup in place of the existing springs. I'm aiming for a decent mid-travel setup but if I get the chance to do it I will post pictures.

I have the same 4Runner as you with a Rough Country 3" lift and 33" A/Ts. The lift is a simple cheap starting point if all you want is a lifted look. Also since you are only 2WD you could look into Solo Motorsports and get lift spindles for yours. ?95.5-?04 2WD TACOMA PRE-RUNNER (6-LUG) »
