I am going to be getting the Sub/AMP from a 2004 limited 4runner. I have a 2003 SR5 and do not have the sub/amp. This will allow me to install a sub and maintain the factory look and not take up space. I was wondering what else I should grab that is available on the limited and not on the SR5...

I have started looking for an amp. I notice most are rather large. Is there any room for extra length or width from the one you bought? I guess having taken it apart is there any room for a slightly larger amp then the one you bought. Thanks

I am looking to do this to my 2003 SR5. It it did not come with the sub and amp. I found a 4runner with the amp and woofer on CL that I plan to look at Thursday. Do you think the wiring to the amp and sub will be already back there? I also want to maintain the stock look. Thanks

Are those raised sections in the floor left over after taking out the top deck? How is the floor designed in the 4runners without the top deck? Thanks

I will take longevity over a performance gain all day long. I generally don't modify my vehicles to far from factory specs.

Keeping the transmission in 4th really helps prevent the fluid heating up to much. I agree it also helps keep your speed more consistent.

What are there noticeable performance benefits to DT headers?

I am looking into a mild lift as well. Not wanting anything harsh because I live off a dirt road.
