Once you get above 2k RPM does it fade away or get worse?

Need a flare for behind the rear door on the driver side for a 2000 4Runner Limited. 1CO Millenium Silver. Hoping someone went flare-less or something! Let me know...

Had it happen a couple times in a 2002 Audi A4 many years ago. Brought it to the dealer and they thought I was crazy. Had to leave it overnight somewhere and pick it up when the sun came back up and warmed it up enough to release.

I was thinking of getting some BFG All-Terrains a while ago but figured I'd wait until the new KO2's came out. They look good. I loved all my previous sets. Outer Banks is some of the best surf I've ever had on the east coast. Good memories camping around there.

You can get a temporary permit to be extra safe, called a trip permit. I did that in Arizona between buying/registering. Oregon has the same option it looks like.... Oregon DMV Light Vehicle Trip Permits

I'm also looking to get some info on the service side of things. I do most things myself but when it comes to electrical gremlins and things of that nature that are tough to track down, it's nice to have a trustworthy dealer with the right equipment.

I was skeptical of the look with stock bumpers. It definitely looks good with armor, but this thread is making be consider it for my silver one. Not bad at all.

Sorry, no help on the starter here. The northeast can definitely be hard on cars. Even with low miles, sitting outside in snow, a short drive on salty roads without a rinse etc can take it's toll. After a day like you had, I'd probably hitch a ride to work to take a break from the headache...

Nice find! Not bad at all. It may be hard to part with but it may be hard to turn down a good offer all things considered.

Looks like quite a bit of rust. Maybe I'm picky but I once bought a car at a steal due to some rust and a check engine light. Even after I fixed the CEL, the rust was worse and worse the more I looked into it and it made me regret my move.

I love the look too. I had a similar one on my wrangler a few years back. Have any more side angled shots where you can see more of the 4runner?

Depending on where you are in GA, there should be a fair amount of steel suppliers to choose from. I'd personally ask for some scrap and get comfortable with technique to produce clean work before paying for good metal to create a piece of art/armor.

I also tried it in an older vehicle adding to pure water in the past and it seemed to keep it a few degrees cooler. I only kept it through a summer and drained it, then refilled with 50/50 before selling it.

Used to be local. Moved around the country the last few years.
