I just installed a pioneer fh-p404, dual din in my 01 sr5 and used the same wiring harness from my 89 supra, just had to bypass the factory amp and it all plugged in...it was a piece of cake, sounds great @ only 40x4.

turns out it was just a random misfire on the first cylinder, they checked all the wires, plugs, coil, etc and all is good, so I guess it was just a fluke.

My 01 sr5 has developed a knokcing noise when it idles low, like when its in gear and stopped, about 600rpm. It only does it after it has warmed up, the noise is faint and you can feel it slightly in the shifter. I took to the toyota service center and was told that it might be caused by a...

I'm pretty fond of the cooper discoverer A/T, it's a little noisy on the highway but it has a pretty aggressive tread pattern so it gets good traction and it is well priced.

I was considering getting a q- customs sub box for my 01 sr5 and wanted to know if anyone has heard or even seen one of these installed. I don't want to rattle my truck apart, Just low end bass reinforcement, and I don't want to take up muck space... would it be worth the money vs. a small box...
