my '87 is that colour but with a cream coloured top. Don't see too many this colour on any of the boards. I will try to attach a pic tonight when I get home.

I threw a Jacobs coil in my old '84 22re and it woke it up nicely. It may have had a lot to do with having the original worn out one in there and any new coil would have made a difference though.

Make it a part of youre regular maintenance to do it spring and fall. Note that this is a time when too much grease in there does not help, use it sparingly. New gaskets and rubber o rings at the dealer are pretty cheap and watch out for the tiny ball bearing, it will go flying into the worst...

You probably need to clean and lube the hubs. Not a big deal and there is lots of info on how to do it. I was out with a few jeeps a couple of weeks ago and it was pointed out to me that my front wheels weren't spinning and sure enough they weren't locking. Kept up with the jeeps though. Helped...

I will check on that. Here in Ontario emissions testing starts for vehicles starting in 1988, mine is exempt from testing being that it is an '87.

I like the idea of the ac compressor but I like having the ac working. Is there a way to hook up a second ac compressor (from my parts truck) on the 22re in a first gen 4RUNNER?

Blue can be repainted grey pretty easily, my inclinometer was red so I painted it with grey tremclad and it looks great. you would never know it was spraybombed.

If I were doing a quick re and re I wouldn't remove them, but I wouldn't want to leave them sitting on the seals too long.

Where did you order it from for that price?

I will see if I can find his info, I haven't talked with him in a year or s but he did open a shop up here. I will have to get back to you. He was talking about selling the adapters at one point.
