Very sturdy. We run one in my wife's TJ and in my 1st gen. It bolts to the passenger seat bolt by the center console and the arm doesn't bounce that much. What's nice is the adjustability so you can suck it up to the dash or bring it over the shifter.

I need to replace mine as well, but my problem is all the seats I find at the junkyard are thrashed. Is there a source for getting then "new" or restored for a reasonable price so I can get some that bolt in without having to fab all new brackets? The racing seats (Corbeau) are just not worth...
