Can I fit this IKEA wardrobe in my 4runner?

It might fit (and you'll be able to close the hatch) if you tilt one end up once the piece is laying flat in the truck. Tilting one end up would add a few extra inches and it may be enough for what you need (ie. the hypotenuse in Pythagorean theorem).

Here's the packaged product if anyone is looking for it in-store.

Why did you choose the trim level that you did?

I chose TRD OffRoad because it's the most stylish from SR5 and Limited. ... And I couldn't justify the PRO because of cost.

I saw the new TRD Pro T4R today locally.

From all the Pro colors Toyota has came out with, this one is the least desirable.

Paint protection? Ceramic coating? Other protection?

Take a look at Line-X. They have a few shops in BC. I have no experience with the product, but would be something to consider if it fits your needs.

Purchasing New Torque wrench 1/2" or 3/8"

Take a look at the torque setting on the wrenches and see which one fits your requirements. For tires, I'd say 1/2" will be within your range. I have both 3/8 and 1/2 and they're useful for different torque ranges. Also, 1/2 has longer handle so you have more leverage when working on bolts...

    Fuel Pump Recall

Who else is affected by the fuel pump recall but are apprehensive to make appointment because of the O-ring issue? It seems most owners notice the O-ring issue within the first week or so, and another posted in this thread they did not run into the O-ring issue until several months had past...

Guilty! Use my 4Runner like a truck! Post your pics here!

I never took a photo, but I had bought 30 bags of gravel (each bag was 55 pounds), and I made 2 trips to the reno store that day and brought home 15 bags at a time. :biggrin2:

    Stock Panasonic Battery Life

I had an OEM Panasonic battery in my previous Honda that lasted for 16 years before it died. I'm hoping my current OEM Panasonic in the T4R will be similar.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Nice! What did they sprayed onto what looks like the front of the hood, and the (top) piece of the front grill?

    storing summer tires

We usually get a few weeks of -30C (that would be -22F in USA) here in Canada and my stock Bridgestone Duelers are put into large plastic bags and then stored in my unheated garage. I got the large plastic bags from Toyota dealership where I got my winter tires installed. They gave back my...

    Driving in snow

Where I'm at, our roads and highways are now snow-covered. If you're asking about on-road/highway driving in the snow, the main advice I can offer is to slow down and drive to the conditions. All vehicles on snow-covered roads will need more distance to come to a complete stop. So leave a...

    Jono.ful's Backcountry Assault Vehicle

Quite the transformation on the 4R Jono.ful! Looks great! Yeah, the economic situation is an especially difficult one in AB. Another O&G merger today in the industry too. Hopefully things will get better soon!

    Innova OBD2 Diagnostic Tool

I've got the Innova 3100 that I purchased a long long time ago. I've used it to reset the gas cap/vacuum leak code the 4runner was throwing when I was in the process of searching for a locking gas cap. I don't have experience with other OBD2 tools to compare it to, but the Innova has all the...
