I left my top off all summer long. There are 2 drainage holes under the rear seats that are plugged by little rubber bungs, which you can remove. After all summer of this rough treatment my interior was hurting, so I just got the entire thing redone with marine carpet and waterproof seat...

Very happy with my new Marlin Crawler tube bumper. I used to have a Smitty Built and this one is far more functional, and doesn't hang low and get hung up on stuff.

Seems as though the ultimate 1st gen swap (although expensive) is the 3.4 with TRD supercharger. Can't think of a better way to get more power with awesome Toyota reliability. Although maybe not the supercharger for complete worry free 200k+ service life...

Tell me about it, seems it's rained pretty much every day since I took it off. Even had a record breaking hail storm. About 10-14 bolts and two people are all you need, it's fairly heavy, 3 people might be better, but I did it with only 2.
