I'm sorry I've never been ... this is a bucket list trip since 2015. And I'm just trying to reach out to fellow 4runner owners; who can give us advise on the good spots and maybe be a trail leader. I've been dreaming of doing Hell's revenge ( with out hells gate. Still have to drive this thing home with my family of 6), fins and things ( both during the day and night run) and maybe baby lions back.
Maybe meet some of you guys...
We're planning on a convoy of 2 or 3 vehicles. We'll be in Canyon Lands in March 27th to the 30th. To do White Rim trail and then head to Moab on the 30th. And spend 2 days there.
Thanks in advance for any advice given ...

Just a heads up you need overnight permits from the NPS to do any section of white rim trail. Along with that all camp sites along the trail are by reservation only ie no dispersed camping within the park. Spring & fall in moab are super busy and getting a white rim pass can be pretty hard.

Camping around moab however is pretty easy. BLM / FS land and developed campgrounds are all over surrounding the parks and town. Exploring the area and finding site is the best part of being out there though. Good luck.
