theres a few places that meet your criteria,
Loch Lomand is my first thought.
As Im not into fishing, I really dont know of much, but if I think of some, Ill be sure to post them up for ya.
BTW,
a few of us are going over towards Grand Junction are this weekend, your welcome to join us, we are going to be camping out of our rigs

Hey Ric,
That does sound like a good drive for a fishing trip. Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to give it a try before ice over.
Do you have any idea of the trails you are going to be running near Grand Junction? I appreciate the invite btw. As of now I'm just not sure where I'm gonna go. I'll be with the girlfriend and 3 dogs though.
I was thinking of staying up higher in anticipation of some snow they say we may get this weekend. They say we may even get some in Denver Sunday.

Didn't end up doing much wheeling other then playing around some BLM I'm familiar with near Glenwood. Pretty much stayed in town and got a hotel room so we could hit the vapor caves, walk around drinking, and not have to drive that night. The next morning I realized I forgot to drop of a key to a friend to feed so she could let the dogs out so we headed back Saturday afternoon instead.
How was your trip and where'd did you end up going ric? Thanks for the invite. I'll have to catch up with you and hit a trail sometime in the future.

New 4Runner owner and LOVE it! Now if I can just get out and romp a little bit. Looking for a fun easy to moderate course. Anyone going before the winter takes over? PM anytime! Thanks!

Hello to everyone in Colorado, I just moved up here to Denver from San Diego and am looking forward to doing some wheeling. That'd be great if I could tag along on some of your trips!
