New 3rd Gen Junkie

Hi guys as you can see I'm brand new to this forum. I have a 96 SR5 that was our DD for about 7 years. We recently bought 2 new to us vehicles to replace the T4R. The 96 ended up sitting in my driveway all summer not being used. But I couldn't get myself to part with it. This truck has never let us down in the 7 years we used it. It has 296,000 miles and still starts right up no matter what the weather is like and goes straight down the road like any newer vehicle. Now that this is no longer our DD I can finally dig into it and do the things I always said I would like to do but couldn't do to it. I'm really excited about getting this badboy into the shape I have planned for it. Any help advice or tips you may have are all very much appreciated. Also if there's anyone in the Mass/NH area that has any 3rd gen parts they are looking to get rid of please feel free to pm me. I can drive just about anywhere in the Mass/Nh area to meet up to buy parts.

Welcome man! Honestly, alot of what you do to your truck will depend on what you plan to do with it, where you want to take it. And of course how much money you are wanting to throw at it haha. Take a look around at alot of the build threads. There are alot of different things that people do with theirs. Here are a few of my favorite builds that i have enjoyed seeing coming together!

98 SR5 - The "Dirt Duster" build

DOWNPOUR11's Build Thread

Blcktpgsr's '97 transformation

And of course feel free to check out my build that is more of a somewhat budget build ha

Wikkis 98 Limited Build

Hope you have fun and excited to see what you have in store.

in search of parts or advice

Hey everyone,
this might not be where to post but Im new to this forum and can't create a thread yet. I live in NH and have a 97 four runner. Unfortunately yesterday I slipped out and hit the embankment and tipped over. I'm in search of advice on what to do now and or advice on where to get parts. There was actually little damage to the vehicle and me, YAY four runner, what a beast. My dad tipped it back over by attached a come along to a tree, it was interesting but it worked! So I probably need a driver side door and maybe a driver side fender? Any leads or advice would be great.
