It's only money, right?

Hello everyone.

I have been in the market for an off road capable "toy" for about 5 months. I finally found a good deal on a 1996 4Runner SR5 4X4, and decided she was the one.

This forum has been a great source of both information and inspiration, and I hope to become a contributing member.

Right now I am spending money, like it's going out of style, in the hopes of making my new rig capable of hitting the trails of Southern California.

It's real. I'm not sure why my pic isn't showing up with my screen name, but you can certainly click on my album to see a picture of my new truck.

So far I have ordered the following:
ODL Front Bumper
ODL Sliders
LCA Skids
LCA bracket protecter
285/75/16 ProComp Extreme M/T

I am hand wringing about the lift but ready to buy it as soon as I settle on which one to get; It's between the Sonoran and the ToyTec ultimate right now. If ToyTec ever starts selling their new rear coils then it will probably be a done deal.

I'm also in between buying the Savage skids or the BudBuilts.

Then there is the locker issue. I think I'm going with an Aussie in the rear (at least until I win the lottery).

The plan is to get all of this on the truck by the end of January and run the Mojave Trail towards the middle of February.
