Oh hai!... from Phoenix-ish Arizona
Hello there. Phoenix area. I recently purchased a 2000 4Runner SR5 4WD. Came with 174k miles, 3.4, auto, E-locker, 265/75r16 BFG AT. Previous owner seems to have garage kept it, excellent overall condition inside and out, everything works. Seems very well maintained for the most part. Allegedly dealer maintained, Toyota definitely did the timing belt and pump work. Carfax and PO have stated the car is Arizona-only, lack of rust supports this. Overall I am really pleased with my purchase. I've already done some mods to it, needed maintenance, etc and will be starting yet another 3rd gen build thread to document my new-to-me favorite vehicle. I can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a vehicle this much.
I just had new OEM upper and lower ball joints, OEM lower control arms & bushings, and OEM CV axles installed. Sonoran Steel 1.2 lift, installed by Steve himself. Took it out for the first time today and took a pic somewhere in Bulldog Canyon. Cheers.

Nice! I love Sonoran Steel Steve, he is SO knowledgeable and always willing to help anyone out.
I was out in that area this weekend too. I did some shooting and cleaning up near Sugar Loaf then took trail 1863 from 4 Peaks down to Butcher Jones then headed back to Chandler via Bush Highway to Power to the 202.
If you're ever interested in going wheelin, hit me up. This time of year I try to get out on the trails just about every weekend. Might do some wheelin this sunday the 23rd. Thinking about doing Lower Sycamore or Mesquite Wash - both off the 87 not far from Bulldog.

Ah, cool. I've shot at sycamore many times. Sad how much trash people leave. Just a matter of time before the man takes away shooting privileges.
I've wheeled there a handful of times in my friends lifted ZJ. I was really impressed with how his stock rig with only a 3" lift and 31's handled it. That said, I took my 4Runner out there once pre-lift and before the suspension was rebuilt and that was a good time, but didn't get too far up the trail. Didn't want to have to deal with a leaky ball joint giving out.
Just saw this today, otherwise I would have made time to go explore. Have fun man.
