cant get an answer

I have a 2001 limited 4 runner, and my dash looks like a christmas tree..... trac control, check eng, brakes.... lights everywhere. toyota wants to charge me 2300.00 for a new moduel.... and they wont give the part number for what i need.... somone said i didnt need the part, but i cant pass emissions without it...
any suggestions ????

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble, but we can't really help you out unless we have more information. Lights on the dash could mean any number of things, but the first thing you need to find out is if it throwing any codes. Any chain parts store will hook a reader up to your truck and give you the codes, then you can come back here and look it/them up to find a possible solution.

This is my recommendation as well - take it to an Autozone - O'Riley's type place and have them pull the codes. With the codes we can be much more helpful.
